My fashion Diary .............

They say time flies when you are having fun ...... Exactement !!
Being a social butterfly is hard work I will let you know ..... However I am not one to complain and as I am a dedicated , conscientious fashionista I endeavour to spoil you with my fashion and social updates .....


Last week I was invited to the Doobie Brothers . I must admit I thought it would be rude to decline though I do fancy the Grand Canal Theatre as a venue therefore I called upon my partner in crime Momo and after some light persuasion we got into rock chic mode and off we went .
The opening act was by a girl called Lara Johnston and I must admit I was blown away by her stage presence and energy . She rocked that stage ! It came as no surprise that Lara is Tom Johnston's daughter . I enjoyed the concert and am proud to admit that although initially I was not so bothered with this group and being aware of just one song  Long Train Runnin , which I adore , I came away feeling honoured that I had met such talented musicians and only regretted that they would not part with even one of their  incredibly beautiful guitars . The metallic emerald blue guitar was the one I yearned for .........


The next evening , braving the storm and  ugly rain , I  attended Nina Di Vito's Boutique launch in the Marble Bar , in the Westbury Hotel . All of Dublin's seriously well heeled society were present to start bonding  with Nina's divine creations ! As we all know Nina also paints fabulous portraits of glorious shoes and she has now decided to spoil us rotten by adding a luxurious dimension to the Westbury Mall
with the opening of the cutest shoe boutique . Ladies beware , Nina's shoes ooze charm and sensuality so be prepared to be totally smitten with every single style ! My personal favorite is Lara , a python boot with vertiginous heel and Andrea , a suede ankle boot in orange with feathers at the ankle that so tickle my fancy !

I wish the gorgeous Nina every success . ❤


Next stop was to be Coco Boutique on Clarendon st . Danielle , the glamorous  owner of Coco launched Sparkles .... an LA based costume jewellry brand . Coco is a favorite fashion haunt with glam girls Glenda Gilson , Virginia Macari and the lovable Haley Rock . We can't blame them of course !!
Oh my divine lord ...... sparkly rings,  necklaces , bracelets ... I'm such a sucker for all things shiny ... and chapeau to Danielle .. bearing in mind that we are in a "reception" all these sexy jewels are ridiculously affordable . Danielle tempted me further by informing me that she is about to receive enormous diamond rings surrounded by snakes ... I want , I want , I want .............
Allow me to add that I have so much respect for Danielle's collection of dresses . This girl has a serious eye for wow pieces . For a day dress or evening dress , look no further ! Danielle will undress you and then dress you . She gives all her girls some serious styling tips and I love her honesty when she styles her ladies .

A girl's work is never over .... My next destination was Dit College . I am working with some fabulous creative souls and helping them prepare for next year's fashion show . What I love here is the enthusiasm that these young guys have for fashion . It is one of the most difficult careers I will agree . However when you have it in your DNA , and would rather die than do anything less in life you will persevere and be successful in your fashion life . Last year I was one of the judges and had a wonderful experience being on board. Hence when they asked me to come on board for next year I was honoured .
I spent the evening choosing female and male models with  organisers Shireen Mc D , Maria Aprile , Carl Shabaan ,Sarah Houlihan and Katie Harrington .
